Learn the Mallon Model from the creator Dr Annetta Mallon

  • How to tailor the roles for your client's individual needs and situation
  • Assisted dying and expected death support network needs and checklist
  • Specific purview aspects and how to maximise the superpowers of each role
  • How to retain the model and community from home to hospital or hospice

This comprehensive and interactive one day workshop examines the three roles in the model, how to adapt the roles based on your client’s needs and circumstances, and how to utilise the model from a variety of standpoints. There are several factors to consider when implementing this essential end of life care approach to best effect, and this workshop includes them all.

Based on international research with end of life doulas in four countries, this micro-model for compassionate community support for those at end of life will streamline end of life doula work, increase death literacy and foster long-term community bonds. Suitable for assisted dying clients, easy to modify depending on personal needs and changing schedules, this approach to creating and facilitating care networks also helps prevent carer burnout – a serious health problem in our communities today.

This year’s workshops are being offered at a special introductory price so don’t miss out!
