Service of Remembrance, Consolation and Hope

For more than 25 years, the Service of Remembrance, Consolation and Hope has been a deeply meaningful tradition for families grieving the loss of a baby or child.

Red Nose Australia and Stillbirth Foundation Australia are honoured to host this cherished tradition together, creating a special space for families to pause, remember and honour their precious children, while finding comfort and connection with others who understand the deep and lasting impact of loss.

We warmly invite families who have experienced the loss of a pregnancy, stillbirth, or the death of a baby or child to join us. This is a non-denominational service where all families, extended family members and friends are warmly welcome.

Together, we hold space for every family, every story and every precious child who will always be remembered.

Registration

We kindly ask all families and guests to register, including those who have joined us in previous years.

Registration ensures you receive all the details you need, including information about the photo tribute and livestream.

Photo Slideshow Tribute

As part of the service, a special photo slideshow will honour and remember the babies and children who are forever loved and missed.

If your child’s photo was included in the 2025 tribute, we will use the same photo again this year. There is no need to resubmit it.

If you would like to change the photo, have your child’s photo removed, or include your child for the first time, please email Nerida Rosenthal at neridarosenthal@rednose.org.au by Monday, 23 November 2026.

We understand that families’ wishes may change from year to year. Whatever feels right for your family, we will respectfully honour your wishes.

Live-Stream Access

The service will also be live-streamed for those unable to attend in person. A reminder email, including the live-stream access link, will be sent a few days before the event. Be sure to register for the live-stream option to receive these details and to take part in the photo tribute.

Photography and Videography Notice

Please note that photography and videography may take place during this event. By attending, you acknowledge and consent to the possibility of appearing in event media.

If you would prefer not to be photographed or recorded, we kindly ask that you speak with a member of our event staff upon arrival and we will be happy to make suitable arrangements.

Parking

Please allow plenty of time for parking. There is street parking and a small car park adjacent to the church.
