MATT ROSS & THE MAVERICKS MEMPHIS FUNDRAISER

Join us for a very special night to help MATT ROSS & THE MAVERICKS, the winners of the Sydney Blues Challenge 2024, as they head to Memphis in January to represent us at the International Blues Challenge.

MATT ROSS  has been a pro guitar player &  singer on the local roots & blues scene for over 35 years. His music has evolved into a combo of trad blues, cool country, southern soul & gospel, with a touch of 60s rock. He is joined by GEORGE RIGATOS on bass, also a 35-year veteran of the Australian roots & blues scene & a well-known, loved & award-winning guitar player.  In this combo he brings his bass playing skill set & locks in superbly with ED RODRIGUES, an award-winning virtuoso jazz & blues drummer who brings his unique flare & unpredictability to the Mavericks' engine room.
