Kitty Bang burst onto the Melbourne cabaret scene in 2010 and since that debut spectacular this red-headed heart-throb has set stages a light all over Australia. Friday 3rd December, Kitty Bang and her epic ten-piece band bring their festive explosion the Darwin Railway Social Club.

Kitty has loveable brand of comedy, whimsy and a soul-warming-songs which delight even the Grinch-iest of minds. Her stories of twisted Christmases gone by matched with hope for the looming frantic day light up audience minds and under pants. Kitty has the ability to grab all in the room by the valves of their hearts through her eclectic song-choice, on stage antics and tomfoolery. There are no deranged Christmas songs, but festive bangers which all will be singing come the closing curtain.

You will wonder how you ever got through Christmas without her.

Having its Darwin debut, A Very Kitty Bang Christmas, Tropical edition will be the 10th anniversary of this Christmas Cabaret. Kitty Band is joined on stage with a ten-piece big band who help her set the night alight. In addition to the cabaret there will be comedy, burlesque and jaunty festive cheer that we all know and love when spending an evening at the beloved Darwin Railway Social Club, Parap.

Kate Boston Smith is a musician and comedian who has grown up with four brothers, and a thick skin. She uses her shows to reap revenge on family members and spread a special kind of demented joy out into the community at large. When not stomping the boards as Kitty Bang, KBS is the lead singer of The Ovulators and a lover of the tropics.
