Please bring a chair to sit on, covered shoes, hat, water bottle and sunscreen.

Morning tea and a light lunch will be provided.

We will be going for a bushwalk to have a look for local feeding and nesting locations.

Glossy Black Cockatoos are a threatened species and lost a significant amount of habitat during the 2019 bushfires.

This workshop will give us a greater understanding of the challenges facing the Glossy-black cockatoos with a presentation by Dr Brian Hawkins from the Department of Environment.

We will also hear from bush regeneration extraordinaires Hank and Sue in how we can support these and other threatened species.

There is also a Glossy-black feed tree giveaway which will be launched at the workshop.

This project is supported by funding from Taronga Zoo.
