Follow Your Waste Tour 

Have you ever wondered where your food and garden waste goes after it's picked up from your kerbside? Come an join us on an eye-opening tour to our contractor, BioGro's, facility in Dandenong.

Please only book a place if you are a resident of Knox and are 90% certain you can make this day and time as we only have 36x places on the bus and the tour itself. 

Time: Be at the bus at 9.45am as we will be leaving at 10am sharp from Carrington Park Leisure Centre in Knoxfield (20 O'Connor Road)

Wear: Enclosed shoes that have some grip on them. (you will NOT be allowed into the factory if you do not have enclosed shoes on)

Bring: Your own lunch, snacks and filled water-bottle. You can consume this at any time during the board-room session of the tour or on the bus on the way back home.

Note: Children 12-years or over must have a responsible adult accompanying them. Children 12-years or under cannot attend this event for safety reasons. 

Please DO NOT bring any valuables in handbags/ bags, as you are not able to bring bags during the factory component of the tour.

Unfortunately this event is not wheel-chair/walking frame accessible. There are about 20x stairs that will need to be ascended/descended during the tour. 

There will be a Waste Education Officer from Knox City Council available to answer all your tricky waste questions during the entirety of the tour.
