This training course can allow you to teach participants how to:

  • Describe the COSO ERM block and ISO 31000
  • Establish a risk management context
  • Describe the 7 R and 4 T’s that form The framework of risk management actions
  • Design and complete a simple risk assessment
  • Determine the right response to Risks and make a plan for all those responses
  • Describe the essential components of Reporting, tracking, and evaluation of a risk management application

Course Overview

We begin by discussing what’s going to occur during the workshop. Students will also have a chance to identify their personal learning goals for the program.

Understanding Risk

In this session, you may go over the definitions of risk and hazard management, kinds of dangers, and the critical elements of establishing your risk management context. To wrap up the session, you may review two key risk management models: the COSO ERM block as well as the ISO 31000 risk management standard.

Risk Management Activities

This session will offer the framework for the rest of the day: the seven R’s and four T’s of risk management.

Assessing Risk

Next, Participants will learn how to design a simple risk assessment procedure. They will also begin working on a case study which will be used during the day.

Responding to Risks

In this session, participants will learn about the four T’s of responding to dangers: Tolerate, Treat, Transfer, and Terminate.
