Classic rock’n’roll is the chassis on which all that came after it was built. It is a sleek, shiny Cadillac straight out of a Chuck Berry song; a souped-up jalopy that is noisy, hot-tempered & irresistible.
JOHN HARDAKER'S rock’n’roll project RAJAH SHAKES captures the excitement of those days with elements of Elvis, rockabilly, Chuck B, Buddy H & some greasy blues.
With John up front is ERIC K BETTS on harp & vocal, & in the back seat are LUKE ROBINSON on drums & MARTIN SKIPPER on bass.
