Semistatic @ Goodspace ft. Pod & Brimmers

Semistatic are a four-piece alternative rock band based on Eora/Sydney. With roots spanning continents, from the Blue Mountains to Asia and the US, their sound is shaped by shared experience and the pull of belonging. Drawing from the weight of shoegaze, the grit of post-hardcore, and the emotional pull of 2000s alt rock, swells of distortion and driving rhythm sections carry melodic vocals that cut through with raw urgency. Their songs explore the human experience in all its contradictions: displacement, belonging, isolation, connection, to filter personal and immigrant narratives through walls of sound that feel both crushing and cathartic.

Pod is a Eora/Sydney three-piece blending influences from indie, midwest emo and ambience. Twinkly guitars, distinct rhythms and quiet loud dynamics are fused to create an unforgettably joyous experience.

Brimmers is an emerging four-piece band from Pennant Hills. Inspired by bands like Third Eye Blind, Bush and Smashing Pumpkins, they blend alternative, post grunge and punk rock in their original music, performed alongside covers of your favourite songs. They also have a double necked guitar so you should totally come just to see that.
