This FREE information session brings together a team of experienced health professionals to provide practical, evidence-based support for women navigating perimenopause and menopause – designed especially for women in rural and regional areas.

Across the morning, a GP, exercise physiologist, pelvic floor physiotherapist, pharmacist, women’s health nurse, dietitian, and psychologist will share clear, relatable information about the physical, hormonal and emotional changes that can occur during this stage of life.

The session will cover:

  • Understanding hormonal changes and medical care options
  • Movement, strength and bone health
  • Pelvic floor health, bladder changes and intimacy
  • Nutrition for energy, weight, and metabolic health
  • Medication and hormone therapy considerations
  • Mental wellbeing, sleep, mood and confidence

Designed to be practical, respectful and supportive, this session aims to normalise women’s experiences, reduce confusion, and help attendees feel informed and confident about their health choices. There will be opportunities for questions and discussion, and morning tea and lunch refreshments will be provided.
