An Evening with Kurt Fearnley, an Australian Legend

This event is being hosted by the Sapphire Coast Youth Development Fund. The cost covers a dinner and contribution to the Fund.

Fearnley is a national hero. His achievements are truly inspirational. He was a marathon gold medalist at the Athens and Beijing Paralympics, has won four New York marathons, three Chicago marathons and marathons in Seoul, Paris, London and Sydney and has two Commonwealth Games Gold medals.

In 2009 he climbed Sydney’s Centrepoint Tower’s 1504 stairs in 20 minutes (two steps at a time) and later that year crawled the Kokoda track in support of men’s health. He has been closely involved with the disability movement culminating in him taking over as Chairman of the National Disability Insurance Agency in 2022.

Fearnley was the NSW Australian of the year for 2019 and has recently hosted his own show ‘One Plus One’ on the ABC. This is one event not to be missed!
