Science in the Paddock - Multi-species demo

Celebrating Science Week by looking at Science in the Paddock.

Southern Cross University and Nambucca Valley Landcare are hosting a field day at a multi-species pasture demonstration site. 

Multi-species pasture seeds were sown on site using different methods and treatments. Come and assess germination rates, identify the different seedlings, discuss the challenges and benefits of a multi-species pasture, how did different treatments and species work.

Bring your own: Hat, water bottle, sunscreen and chair. 

Covered shoes are required as we are walking across a paddock, and up a hill. 

Shoes must be clean of all dirt and mud for biosecurity purposes.
