LEE ORSZACZKY QUINTET + JAMES WATT TRIO (DOUBLE BILL)

LEE ORSZACZKY is a Sydney-based trombonist, bandleader & educator active on the jazz, pop & world music scene - best known for appearances with Beliza, the SonicBoom Jazz Orchestra, the catholics & his own project, Mosaic.  Fresh from completing his honours thesis on the late drummer John Pochée OAM, his quintet will be reinterpretating tunes written by Australian composers such as Bernie McGann, Miroslav Bukovsky & Roger Frampton as well as a selection of Lee's originals & arrangements.

Hailing from Sydney’s Northern Beaches, 20 year old bassist & composer, JAMES WATT is a rapidly emerging voice on the Sydney Jazz scene, best known as bassist & key member of creative project, Mosaic.  The James Watt Trio will be presenting his own fresh arrangements of standard jazz repertoire, inspired by the greats of the piano trio format.
