The National Arboretum Canberra, one of Canberra's iconic and much-loved locations, is celebrating 10 years in 2023 and we invite you to celebrate with us!

You are invited to join the celebration and become part of the National Arboretum's legacy at this very special gala anniversary event.

The National Arboretum Canberra has a special place in the hearts of many Canberrans. Since opening its gates to the public 10 years ago, over 6 million people have watched the attraction grow, celebrated milestones, and looked over the city we call home.

The evening will commence with a Welcome to Country by Ngunnawal Elder, Aunty Violet Sheridan.

Join the journey of the National Arboretum Canberra with our MC, award-winning journalist, and broadcaster Alex Sloan AM. Guest speakers will tell the ambitious story of the Arboretum and the Friends of the National Arboretum Canberra will launch the 'Arboretum Story: 2003 - 2023'.

Headlining the entertainment is William Barton, distinguished composer, producer, and didgeridoo virtuoso. A classical quartet and renowned jazz pianist Wayne Kelly on grand piano, will support William Barton throughout the evening.

Enjoy canapés and a three-course menu inspired by the forests and gardens at the National Arboretum Canberra. Designed by Janet Jeffs, acclaimed chef and owner of The Ginger Group, and paired with local wines, this bespoke menu features the freshest local produce and supports our regional farmers and producers. Multiple award winners and renowned for their paddock to plate philosophy, The Ginger Group have been an integral part of the National Arboretum Canberra since it opened.
