This celebrated burlesque variety night is coming to Canberra Circus Fest with a special Circus Themed edition!  Bringing you premiere alternate performing artists. Prepare to have a decadent and debaucherous time.

Acclaimed burlesque stars from across the Country will take over the May Wirth Bigtop and delight with burlesque, cabaret, aerial, fire eating, sideshow and MORE.

Jazida Productions is a queer POC led social enterprise that works to elevate alternate performing artists and their artforms. Profits fund our artist mentorship/scholarship programs. By coming along to the show, you are helping us run our PERFORMANCE FOR PURPOSE program for 2022.

Jazida has become recognised as one of Australia’s premiere burlesque performers, having been accepted to perform at the Burlesque Hall of Fame in Las Vegas in 2018 and virtually in 2020, chosen as the representative Australian Headliner for the Perth International Burlesque Festival in 2019, selected as a Featured Artist for the Australian Burlesque Festival 2019, and selected as teacher on the Australian Burlesque Cruise 2020!

As well as being a performer, Jazida works to elevate alternate performing arts and support the industry by producing shows through Jazida Productions and running classes through Flazéda, managing performance troupes (particularly Jazida’s Fabulous Fan Dancers) and also run workshops across Australia. In 2020 Jazida Productions won the Canberra Local Business Awards for Outstanding Performing Arts and two years running was voted in the top 10 of people who have made the biggest contribution to the Australian Burlesque Scene at The Busties (the Australian Burlesque Industry Awards) 

The Canberra Circus Festival is an action-packed festival of amazing Australian circus works, proudly produced and presented by Warehouse Circus.

See some of the Territory's finest circus performers and emerging artists share a stage with amazing circus acts from around the country.

Expect big skills, big gasps and big laughs from this fun, four-day event. Entry is free or by donation, and there are plenty of attractions to come, plus ticketed circus shows guaranteed to delight and impress.
