How it works:
- The aim is to complete the course within the least amount of time.
- The course will begin outside Malabar Golf Club and will navigate around the suburb, headland and rock pool.
- There are 5 checkpoints to complete and there are challenges at each checkpoint.
- You will need to complete each challenge in order to move to the next checkpoint.
- The course can take anywhere from 2-3hrs depending on how you work as a team.
- You will incur extra time if you need clues/hints or are unable to complete challenges/exercises.
Checkpoint 1) The team will be given instructions to navigate to a destination. On the way to this destination there will be 3 different names/numbers the team will have to remember. These names/numbers are crucial to remember because they will be used later on to solve problems and get through checkpoints.
Checkpoint 2) The team will arrive at checkpoint 2 and will be shown a picture of a building and advised of an object they will need to find at that building. On the way the team will be challenged to carry another object through tough terrain and also remember more information.
Checkpoint 3) Once the team arrives at this building they will be put into a capture scenario from which they will have to escape (no physical harm or abuse is incurred). The team will then proceed to locate the object that was nominated at the start of checkpoint 2. That object will have instructions on the location the next checkpoint.
Checkpoint 4) At checkpoint 4, the team is required to transport materials to checkpoint 5 to construct what is essential to progress and complete the mission.
Checkpoint 5) The team will now be confronted with TWO physically demanding, interacting challenges. Detailed components of the interaction are revealed, which affect team progression. Part of this challenge involves immersion in cold water and ice.
