Brightpath - Oral Narrative (New)

Brightpath Oral Narrative Professional Learning - led by Rosemary Simpson.

This workshop will inspire and empower educators to deliver high quality (evidence based), oral language instruction in schools. Teachers and school leaders will develop a deeper understanding of the areas: receptive and expressive language; typical development; links to the WA Curriculum; how to implement a systematic approach to teaching Oral Narrative; and linking to writing. 

By the end of the end of the workshop you will understand/know how to:

• Oral language as the foundation to literacy, the Oral text structure – its link to writing
• Use the Brightpath Oral Narrative Ruler effectively & efficiently
• Practical Aspects – converting recordings to MP3, uploading oral and transcript files
• A systematic approach to teaching Oral Narrative using
  
  • Whole School Scope and Sequence and;
  • An Evidence-based Oral Narrative Intervention Program
  • Transcripts for Goal setting 

This event includes morning tea and lite lunch.
