Event Details

TaKeTiNa is a transformational group process, working with the powerful tools of poly-rhythm, voice, movement, and somatic awareness. Sometimes referred to as the Yoga of Rhythm, TaKeTiNa invites participants into a state of profound stillness, awareness, joy, and connection.

During these uncertain times our relationship with time has changed. The frantic rhythm of our modern lives has been slowed right down, yet there is much chaos and uncertainty in the world around us. As we emerge from isolation back into work and community our tempo is speeding up. Yet we are also heading into the heart of winter and the stillness of the longest night calls. It is a time of unusual polarity, and many of us are struggling to find our flow.

TaKeTiNa is an embodied rhythmic meditation that helps us to deepen our relationship with stillness and chaos. Through the mantra, movement and rhythm we can experience states of profound presence and connection, and from this place learn to engage with chaos. TaKeTiNa helps us return to our authentic flow.

No musical experience is necessary and participants are invited to journey at their own pace within this safely held and dynamic group process. Due to current restrictions, limited spaces are available and pre-booking is essential. Sessions may be attended individually dependent on availability.

"Rhythm is one of the most ancient and efficient ways to influence and develop human consciousness. In our globally-networked and technologically-focussed world, human beings often lose touch with their own internal rhythms, making them feel displaced and de-synchronized. TaKeTiNa allows them to reconnect with the healing powers of rhythm and primordial motion. Social, mental, creative, spiritual and of course musical faculties are reawakened and developed with the practice of TaKeTiNa."
- Reinhard Flatischler (Founder of the TaKeTiNa Process)
