Currently touring her award-winning, sell out debut stand up comedy solo, Vanessa Larry Mitchell has over 20 years as a professional public speaker in a range of roles and is ready to share the tips & tricks of the trade!

Day 1: Loud & Proud: Speaking Publicly with Confidence.

Originally developed for SCU students, this fun and informative workshop is now available to the public!!! The content of this workshop is designed for ANYONE who would like to develop their speaking skills; whether you are hoping to try comedy, presenting at team meetings, hosting community events, or preparing to MC a wedding, the skills learnt in this workshop are transferrable to many areas of you life, both on and off the stage.

Day 2: Laugh Lines: Comedy Writing & Development

The Laugh Lines workshop focusses on exploring the craft of comedy. From joke structure and content development, to use of voice, space and physical movement, this workshop will draw the funny right out of you and get you ready for your time in the spotlight!

Described by local comedy legend Mandy Nolan as ‘........refreshingly honest’ and comedy great Greg Fleet as having ‘.......next level confidence’, Vanessa will teach you the tricks of the trade to have you feeling fearless (or almost!) in front of any crowd".

About the Facilitator: Nominated for NSW trainer of the year in 2016, Vanessa is well known for her ability to adapt her public speaking skills to suit a vast range of audiences. From facilitating Mental Health First Aid Training to hosting community events, fundraisers and corporate events, to emceeing and performing comedy all over NSW, QLD & Vic, Vanessa will have you feeling fearless (or almost!) in front of any crowd.
