Here's a blurb about this unmissable show:

Steve Kilbey is the singer, bassist and songwriter for the Australian band The Church, who formed in Sydney in 1980 and has gone on to release over 30 albums.

The Church's 1988s Starfish containing Under the Milky Way sold over one million copies in the US alone. Their recently released 26th studio album the Hypnogogue has garnered rave reviews all over the world and 9/10 star ratings.

Steve Kilbey also has a prolific solo and collaboration career releasing a further 30 odd records including collaborations with Martin Kennedy and Kate Ceberano. Kilbey has appeared on Rockwiz numerous times and remains undefeated. He has written 4 books and painted many hundreds of paintings making him a true Renaissance geezer.

His show at Qirkz will be a tour de force of hits, reminiscences and reflections on his over 50 years in show biz; cautionary tales and all the characters who populated the 1980s pub rock explosion.
