Gather in the Barossa - Friday Sundown in the Vines

We are so excited to announce our FRIDAY SUNDOWN IN THE VINES gathering at Kies Family Wines on Friday the 11th of April from 5pm.

Think ice cold bubbles or award winning wines, live music and Barossa Valley Platter Boxes brimming with local produce, all at golden hour and chilled vibes.

LOCAL SUPPLIERS: We will be showcasing the products of some amazing local suppliers.

This is a family friendly event and your fur family members are also welcome. Children under 5 are free.

Barossa Valley Platter Boxes (GFO, VGO)

Perfect for sharing, these boxes are filled with a delightful selection of the finest Barossa Valley produce. Ideal for enjoying with friends and family!

12-Hour Smoked Beef Brisket Burger (GFO)

Savour the rich flavours of slow-smoked beef brisket, cooked over Kies port barrel oak, and served with a fresh slaw and tangy pickles. A must-try for burger lovers!

Loaded Nachos

Indulge in our mouth-watering nachos, loaded with Mexican-spiced beef, crisp lettuce, juicy tomatoes, sour cream, cheese, and a generous dollop of guacamole.

Mediterranean Chicken Salad (GF, VGO)

Drunken marinated, boneless Maryland Chicken on a bed of salad greens, topped with feta, Monkey Nuts (pine nuts), olives, cherry tomatoes and shaved parmesan.

Tomato and Basil Arancini Balls (V) 

Deliciously crispy on the outside and bursting with the flavours of tomato and basil on the inside—these arancini balls are the perfect snack to complement your evening.

Our epic FRIDAY SUNDOWN IN THE VINES event IS ONLY $10 PER TICKET, which includes:

- Your very own souvenir Kies Family Wines branded plastic picnic style wine glass

Here are some answers to the most frequently asked questions so far:

1. Dietary Requirements:  We will provide a menu in the coming months that has varied menu options to cater for different dietary requirements. 

2. Outside food and drink: As we have a cellar door and cafe, we don’t allow outside food and drink to be bought in.

3. Cost: Tickets are only $10 – yipppee! 😆🥂

4. To bring:

– Feel free to bring along all members of the family, young and old. This is a family friendly event.
– Warm clothing.

5. Opening times for the cellar door: The cellar door will be open from 9am – 6:30pm on Friday

6. Opening times for the Monkey Nut Cafe: The Cafe is open from 11am on Friday and will close at the conclusion of the Friday Sundown in the Vines event.

7. Music: From 5pm we will have live music playing for you to enjoy!
