Surfing is an intimate relationship between the ocean and the wave rider. Only one thing allows the communication and transfer of forces from water to body and back again. That’s the interplay of the surfboard between the two worlds of environment and human mechanics. The talking point, where this all occurs, is at the feet. In this session, learn self-mobilisation techniques and exercises you can use to unlock your feet. Train the primary drivers for your board through footwork and lower limb activation exercises. And, importantly, improve your balance and confidence on the board, with balance and nervous system exercises that will have you surfing with grace and ease. You will need to bring a drink bottle and pants that you can move in. No other equipment provided.
