DUO OF DUOS is a series featuring double-bills of distinctive jazz piano/ sax duets.

Casey Golden & Nish Manjunath are fresh & accomplished stars of the Sydney jazz scene: who have played together as bandleaders, side-persons, & now as a duo.  Tonight, they’ll be revisiting music from Casey’s album The Struggle, as well as debuting some new compositions from both members & playing some of their favourite standards.

Peter Dasent & Phillip Johnston are versatile & distinctive composer/ musicians, known both for their multi-decade output of jazz under varied band names (Greasy Chicken Orchestra/ The Umbrellas), & for their work in film, TV, theatre & song-writing.  Tonight, they will delve into their diverse repertoire of originals, Thelonious Monk tunes, cinematic music & unexpected arrangements of musical gems.
