The show also highlights Matt’s personal journey with the blues. In 2024, he released his latest album Then & Now, a collection of original songs that explore his past and present. Drawing on the rich legacy of blues to shape his own voice, Matt weaves selections from this album into the performance, illustrating the profound influence the genre has had on his songwriting.
