2021 ACT NAIDOC Awards Ball

The Canberra and District Aboriginal NAIDOC Corporation acknowledges the Ngunnawal people, the Traditional Owners, Custodians and lore keepers, of this region. We pay our respects to their Elders past, present and emerging.

The Canberra and District Aboriginal NAIDOC Corporation invites you to attend the 2021 Canberra and District NAIDOC Awards Ball. 

The night will celebrate Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples and their contributions to the community and issues impacting Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islanders. 

Awards will be presented in the following categories:

• Person of the Year
• Youth of the Year
• Mr and Miss NAIDOC 
• Sportsperson of the Year
• Apprentice/Trainee of the Year
• Elder of the Year
• Artist of the Year
• Caring for Country Award
• Scholar of the Year
• Organisation/Agency/Committee of the Year
• Non-Indigenous Contribution of the Year
• Community Spirit Award
• VET Indigenous Student Award
• Community Sector Award 

We look forward to celebrating the achievements as a community in a COVID safe environment.  

Dress code: Formal / Black Tie 

Ticketing: All patrons must present a ticket on the night to ensure entry. Your ticket includes entrée, main meal and dessert, a drinks package and entertainment.
