Following a string of sell-out shows, CHUTNEY is back!

CHUTNEY is a klezmer band with a twist. Drawing on their Eastern European and Middle Eastern heritage, they present a hot, spicy, high-energy mix of original compositions plus modern arrangements of traditional dance tunes. Comprising well-known Sydney musicians Ben Adler (violin), Paul Khodor (keyboard), Ben Samuels (clarinet), Oscar Gross (bass) and Yiss Mill (percussion), the musicians’ on-stage chemistry is undeniable, traversing styles from gypsy jazz to tango, folk to rock, classical to funk, east to west.

With generous helpings of violin schmaltz, blisteringly fast solos, driving rhythms and toe tapping classics, expect to dance in your pants and sway in your seat till your shoulders hurt!
