Featuring special guest speakers, David Sivyer, Founder of Feedback Organic Recovery and Lauren Branson, CEO of Calyx

David is a fifth-generation farmer with a background in hospitality and the winner of the University of Newcastle's award for student Entrepreneur of the Year in 2020. David founded Feedback Organic Recovery in 2013 as a social enterprise to accelerate the delivery of Circular Urban Agriculture for local communities. Since then, the organisation has diverted 1,500 tonnes of food waste from landfill and grown 500,000 servings of fresh produce and delivered programs to educate students and up skill the community.
David will share his journey as a young entrepreneur and his inspiring vision to grow the impact of Feedback Organic Recovery.

Lauren is the co-founder and CEO of Calyx.eco a science backed data driven tool that allows food brands and retailers to quickly calculate the environmental footprint of products, reduce their impact and share their story. Calyx is empowering millions of people to make better decisions, as brands, retailers and consumers. The future of food is nature positive, carbon neutral and regenerative. The challenge is knowing how to get there.
Lauren will share her journey and the genesis for Calyx - building Your Food Collective - Australia's Most Sustainable Grocery Store and her vision for Calyx and her valuable insight around the challenges and opportunities for food and drink producers looking to differentiate based on sustainability.
