York Dance Friday Night 2025

Do you feel like Dancing? Do you like Rock N Roll? Do you like Vintage cars?

The town of York and Lets Rockon Events are inviting you to come and join us for a weekend of fun and dancing during the weekend of 29th August 2025 to 1st September 2025 this year.

The Friday night dance will be held on Friday night at the endearing Town Hall . The fantastic "best Friends"" will top the bill and tickets will be selling for this dance at $25 per head. We will also be holding raffles so bring your loose change that support York Ambulance Services. 

The main dance will be held on the Saturday 30th August 2025 for $25pp at the Town Hall again with the amazing band "Merzies"  who will start at 7pm and run through till 11.00pm. 

Group tickets for the Saturday event can be purchased through Graham on 0459 334 399 and to make payment for tables of 8 or more.

Please note there will be no discount for attending both nights.

We are encouraging people to buy their tickets early as we are expecting tickets to sell out fast and book your accommodation and your meals early at the local hotels to avoid missing out.

During Saturday there will be lots happening in the town to keep you entertained before the dance. There will be music at various hotels to warm up your dancing shoes through the day with the possibility of a market during the day on Saturday (Markets location t.b.c) along with a American Classic Car Show on Saturday and Sunday.

We will also be holding a best dressed male and female  also Best Dressed Couple. The York Motor show King and Queen will be held later in the year.

This event is open to the public, dancers and anyone who is interested.

Please be mindful that if you are purchasing tickets and do not opt to purchase a table of 8 then individuals will be put on tables to fill the gaps to make tables of 8 to maximize the capacity of the Town Hall.

Tea, Coffee and biscuits will provided for everyone, drinks and nibbles are B.Y.O.
