In celebration of National Ag Week 2021, PIEFA will be hosting twenty nation-wide live Farmer Time sessions for students from Foundation to Year 12, showcasing producers from a broad range of food and fibre industries.

The focus of these sessions is to assist students to develop an understanding of the importance of Australia's primary industries.

Join us for this online session where we chat with Tim Eyes, NSW-based (Central Coast) Primary Producer on The Food Farm @thefoodfarm, with a mixed enterprise of cattle, sheep and poultry. Farmer Tim is focused on regenerative agriculture and vertically integrating the business to complete the paddock to plate process on farm.

Throughout this Farmer Time session, Farmer Tim will explain the regenerative methods used on his farm, that produce 100% grass-fed, grass-finished beef and pasture-raised organic chicken and eggs. Tim will describe why this practice is so important and why caring for the animal, the land, the soil and the future takes us beyond farming sustainably to actually regenerating the land.

This session is designed for students in high school and will run for approximately 30 minutes.
