OMIT THE STANDARDS is the newest project led by drummer ILIJA GJORGIEVSKI, featuring LALO RISBY on Bass & BILL RISBY on Piano. Drawing inspiration from the atmospheric sounds of ECM records, the trio explores original contemporary Jazz music through ambient soundscapes, textural interchange & spontaneous improvisation. With a focus on pushing the boundaries of the traditional piano trio, Omit The Standards creates a performance that is intimate, unique & constantly evolving.
