What We’ll Do

An inclusive, hands-on session where you’ll learn the foundations of coiled basketry. We’ll “pink it up” by repurposing pre-loved fabric, rope and thread — keeping useful materials in circulation and skills alive. You’ll head home with a small basket (or a strong start) and the confidence to keep making.

What to Bring

• Pre-loved fabric, rope, trims or thread — bring if you have; we’ll have some too
• Fabric scissors and large hand-sewing needles — bring if you have
• Water bottle
• Reusable cup — no single-use cups, please!

All ages and skill levels welcome — beginners encouraged. Under-12s with a supervising adult.

100% of workshop attendance fees are donated to the McGrath Foundation to help ensure no one goes through breast cancer without the care of a McGrath Breast Care Nurse.
