Melbourne Community Rope and The Club have joined forces to bring you KNOTS OF FRICTION - a daytime rope jam.
Are you a daytime person? Do you want to be home in time for dinner? Is it easier for you to tie during the day? This jam is for you!
This event has been created to support accessibility across the diverse range of the communities members we know and love and their needs and wants. We are proud to be creating safe(r) and accepting spaces for all of you.

Melbourne Community Rope jams are a friendly opportunity to tie, be tied, watch and/or meet other rope bondage members of the community.

Our rope jams are not a lesson or a class so you can tie as you wish (safely and with consent!). They are a good opportunity to practice what you have learned in our classes, or elsewhere, in a casual environment with your peers.

Rope Jams are open from beginners to advanced rope fans, and one can come as a single or with friend(s) / partner(s) to participate or just observe. There may be a few demonstrations of rope from people, but nothing formal.

Workshop

There is a negotiation and consent workshop available to attendees at no cost, it is run during the rope jam time

It is expected that all attendees are familiar with our venue rules. Please take a moment to review them prior to attending one of our events.

Attendance Requirements & Dress Code

This is a 18+ event, no minors.
Rope jams are dry (no drugs or alcohol) events, with no sex on premises.
Dress as you please, ready for rope play and socialising. Nudity is permitted while tying / being tied, clothing covering at least your crotch should be worn at other times and don't forget your aftercare snacks!

Tickets are $25 per person.

Time

Doors open at 11:00am and remain open until cease of event at 4.00pm.

Access

Parking: parking is available onsite and in surrounding streets. Please be respectful of our neighbours while arriving and departing, we do have residential on one side of the Indwe St.
Train: The closet train station is Tottenham (approx. 800m walk) and buses are also available from Footscray station which is further away. Please check public transport websites for information.
