Murrumbidgee Region GP Antenatal Shared Care Program Orientation & Update 2024

Session 1: Orientation to the Murrumbidgee Region GP Antenatal Shared Care Program
For GPs who are interested in providing shared care in pregnancy, and GPs who want an update on first trimester care. GPs who attended orientation training in 2020/2021 do not need to attend the whole day. This morning session will be presented by local Obstetricians, GP Obstetricians and Midwives.
8.30am – 1.30pm Registration from 8am Morning session will start promptly at 8.30am
Session 2: Update to the Murrumbidgee Region GP Antenatal Shared Care Program
For all GPs attending Session 1 today and GPs who attended previous orientation training in pregnancy care.
2.00 pm – 4.00pm Registration from 1.30pm

Then Join us in the evening of light refreshments and canapes and connect with your peers, with a special guest speaker 6pm – 9pm Numbers are limited for this evening catch up
Please note, to be eligible for the program a GP must:
1. Attend the annual Murrumbidgee Region GP Antenatal Shared Care Program Orientation workshop once in a 3 year term, and
2. Attend at least one Murrumbidgee Region GP Antenatal Shared Care Program Update session in a 3 year term OR attend three educational sessions which have relevant antenatal/postnatal/women’s health topics in 3 year term
3. GPs who attended education external to the events hosted by MPHN will need to provide evidence of completed training. Doctors will be required to provide a copy of the Statement of Attendance to the CPD Coordinator
