JO FABRO QUARTET

The JO FABRO QUARTET brings together four distinctive voices in contemporary music for a performance that blends original compositions with a rich palette of jazz, R&B & ambient influences.  Led by vocalist & composer JO FABRO, the ensemble creates an immersive sound world that is both intimate & expansive.

Drawing on improvisation, groove & atmospheric textures, the quartet's music moves seamlessly between lyrical storytelling, rhythmic exploration & cinematic soundscapes. Their original works celebrate collaboration, spontaneity & the expressive possibilities of modern jazz.

Presented as part of the SIMA International Women's Jazz Festival, the Jo Fabro Quartet offers a compelling performance that reflects the creativity, innovation & artistry of some of Australia's leading contemporary musicians.
