In-person and online seminar on AI in stroke recovery.
Visiting academic Dr Praveen Kumar (University of the West of England, Bristol) will be present results from his work in the co-creation of Artificial Intelligence algorithms for personalised rehabilitation exercise programs for stroke survivors.
Associate Professor Yuqing Lin (University of Newcastle), an expert in large language models, AI and software engineering, will share progress on the development of a stroke recovery focussed generative AI powered chatbot to support and enhance self-determination in stroke recovery.
The seminar will be in Caves Theatre at Hunter Medical Research Institute, followed by a light lunch in the connecting Haggarty Space. Please register for in-person catering arrangements.
