LEARN HOW TO MAKE A TERRARIUM

‘GROW YOUR MIND ‘

MINDFUL ART THERAPY FOR SCHOOL-AGED CHILDREN

Healing Wings Art Therapy & Real Connections Art Therapy have come together to create a special 2.5-hour holiday workshop for primary school aged children, to explore and interact with others. This workshop is designed to encourage children to practice mindfulness and to explore their own creativity in a fun and supportive space. Children will not only learn to explore their own creativity, but also gain valuable skills on problem solving  , responsibility , nurturing and build on their confidence all in a fun and interactive environment.  

Using recycled materials , they will learn about sustainability and the environment as they paint and decorate their very own container for their plant . Children will have the freedom to choose from a variety of different plants and learn how to de-pot and re-plant their plants into their completed creation . They will also learn about the different layers of soil  and will be given instructions on how to care and nurture their plants .at home.    

Children will not only learn to explore their own creativity, but also gain valuable skills & resources on how to express their feelings & emotions .Other activities will include, music and movement and creating artwork . All materials will be supplied.
