The Mad Hatters Tea Party

Don’t be late, don’t be late for a very important date!
Slide down the rabbit hole to the Estate.

We’re having a tea party, at 12.30 pm it starts,
On Saturday 8th June, why not come dressed as the Queen of Hearts.

Until 3.30 pm, we’ll laugh and have fun,
We’ll be at The Conservatory, 28 Mistletoe Lane until the party is done.

With lawn games; croquet, bocce and giant chess,
Now please come dressed in your Saturday best.

Food, tea, champagne and wine a flowing,
Come with some chums, you will sure to be glowing.

Our Chef Adam will be wearing a hat,
You wear one too, we have prizes for that.

It’s a Mad Hatter’s Tea Party, please mark the day.

This event was conceptualised in 2009 by Kirsty Gregson, General Manager at Estate Tuscany, with the assistance of Kate Mercer, Events and Sales Manager Extraordinaire and The Brilliant Executive Chef, Daniel Wejikoon, 2018 has seen this come to fruition.

The idea is to have a bespoke, chilled event with some like minded individuals, in a relaxed, civilised environment at the stunning Estate Tuscany, Pokolbin in the Hunter Valley vineyards. The Mad Hatters Tea Party will start at 12.30 pm with a tea and beverage station, you can help yourself to a drink or two and the games begin. A life size chess board, 2 bocce pits, croquet and quoits; we ask that everyone shares the games and it is essential you have fun. At 1.00 pm or there about, the tea party table will be open with a spread of high tea cakes, sandwiches, there will be something to nibble on for everyone.

To ensure the spirit of the Mad Hatters Tea Party is embraced all guests are asked to come in your Saturday best; so dress up in your favourite character to enter the Wonderland of The Mad Hatters Tea Party.

Children are welcome but only a limited number of children tickets are available as it is an adults tea party. ALL GUESTS; adults and children are asked to be well mannered, courteous and respectful at all times so everyone can have a lovely afternoon of food, drinks and some games. Responsible Service of Alcohol applies.

If it rains the party will go on but the games will be cancelled we hate to say. Bring your sunnies, umbrella's, jackets and your fancy dress.
