A NIGHT OF JAZZ WITH BETH FOAD QUINTET AND THE THEO PARROTT TRIO.

Consisting of three of Brisbane’s most exciting up and coming musicians, the Theo Parrott Trio is a group to watch. The Trio is set to deliver a mix of burning swingers, classic standards and original tunes and arrangements in the exciting form of a chordless trio (no piano or guitar required). Coming off a date @ The Junk Bar in Ashgrove, the ensemble is excited to head out west to @ Banshees Bar in Ipswich where you’ll hear lot’s of exciting original music and hip arrangements alongside the Beth Foad Quintet.

From a very early age, Beth Foad has been what can only be described as a thriving performer, with her passion for the stage beginning through dance and blossoming through music. With experience in Theatre, Pop, Contemporary, R&B and Jazz, Beth is an extremely versatile artist. As a recent graduate of the Queensland Conservatorium Griffith University, Beth has spent the last three years honing her skills under the mentorship of Australia’s finest Vocalists, Dr Irene Bartlett, Kristin Berardi, David Spicer and Elly Hoyt. Beth has performed in venues all over Brisbane and Ipswich including DooBop jazz bar, QPAC’s Green Jam, the Brisbane Jazz Club, Studio 188, as well as private events. The Beth Foad Quintet features Ben Oldham on trumpet, Theo Parrott on keys, Bernie Morgan on Double Bass and Jordan Cant on drums. They plan to deliver a swingin’ set filled with some jazz favourites, songs from Beth’s main musical influences, and even some Original tunes.
