Special Guest Speaker; Niamh Cunningham

Niamh is the Head of Protective Security at Canva, responsible for building out the security program to secure Canva’s employees and workspaces worldwide.

In her previous role, Niamh was Head of Intelligence and Cyber Business Engagement at Scentre Group (owner and operator of Westfield centres in ANZ). She provided subject matter expertise to national operations and managed Scentre Group Corporate Security programs. She also led the program aimed at uplifting employee understanding of and resilience to cyber threats.

Prior to this Niamh was based outside of Washington, DC working in intelligence and security advisory. She has supported research conducted at the Lowy Institute and University of Sydney’s Centre for International Security Studies. Passionate about diversity, she is a Sydney Chapter Lead for the Australian Women in Security Network.
