Join the National Library of Australia’s Education team to explore stories behind the Treasures in our collection. Learn how you and your students can access reliable, authentic sources through the Library's Exhibitions programming, with incredible objects that can be found both online and by visiting the building in Canberra.

In this program, educators from the National Library of Australia’s education team will guide participants through the Treasures exhibition, exploring how the collection can be used to deepen the understanding of Australia, its people and its history.

Build critical thinking, practise object interrogation skills and discover the range of resources that students and educators can access to bring the HASS curriculum to life.

This workshop aligns with HASS for Year 5 (AC9HS5K04, AC9HS5K02and AC9HS5K03), HASS for Year 6 (AC9HS6K02), and the Arts (AC9ADA6E01).

Ticket price includes 1 hour of TQI accredited Professional Learning and refreshments.

Pre-service teachers and ACT HTA members receive a discount. Please email learning@nla.gov.au
