WHO is this course for

People in health and the caring professions who want to stop trading time for money or who want to supplement their 1:1 work. I typically work with psychologists, counsellors, social workers, coaches, midwives, doulas and anyone who wants to protect their energy and future proof their business.

Section 1:

My VERY HONEST evolution to attracting 1000 students

I will take you through the 3 evolutions that my first course Birth Trauma Training for Birth workers has been through. From course idea to production, tech, editing and platforms.

There is no such thing as an overnight success. Most people who have created successful courses have experienced many failures, false starts, bombed launches and have had to tweak, test and polish as they go. DONE is better than perfect

Creating my first course just about broke me. It has been the best personal and professional development I’ve ever done for myself and my business. It’s led to many tears, drafted Instagram posts about how I can’t do it, extreme frustrations over tech and meeting some of my own untested beliefs head on.

We’ll look at creating an idea that: fits within a niche, is sellable, AND fits within a story framework that your ideal client actually wants to invest in

I’ll teach you the ‘arse about face’ way of making courses. Learn what order you need to do things in and why. I’ll teach you the way I did things versus the way you are ‘supposed to’ do things.

In section 2:

How to set up pre-production with a crystal clear timeline, scripts, the pros and cons of teaching formats (face to camera, talking over slides, audio etc)

Why teaching to camera is VERY different to live teaching, and how to get over yourself if you’re afraid

Set design, costume (sounds fun right?!)

Figuring out which tech suits you

An overview of learning to shoot and edit DIY with your phone or iPad (very doable btw) versus hiring a videographer

In section 3:

We’ll go over costings. How much is it going to cost to produce and maintain and what you can and can’t claim. Different hosting platforms, fee structure and how NOT to figure out what to charge for your course. I’ll take you through a little marketing speak and what you need to know about failing fast, pivoting and understanding sales conversions.


Delivery will be a 3 hour live online session via Zoom (with the option to watch recording later).

You’ll also have the option to upgrade to a strategy session afterwards if you want to get some hot seat coaching about your ideas, viability and where to start. Note this will be strictly limited to a small group to allow everyone enough time. You must have at least ONE clear idea with a clear target audience to pitch and you must be coachable 😊

There is rebellion in the act of choosing not to hustle and bust your guts as an entrepreneur. I’ve already navigated a small stroke, burnout and a bout of sleep-deprivation induced psychosis.
