German guitarist & composer POUYA ABDI brings a night of dynamic jazz to Butchers Brew Bar featuring TWO trio formations:

The first set will showcase a unique duo of two guitars & drums, with Abdi, Australian guitarist Danica Hobden & drummer Alex Inman Hislop exploring sound without a bass.

The second set returns to a classic trio format, with Abdi, Inman Hislop & Sydney bassist Dave Quinn performing Abdi’s compositions and jazz standards.

This performance promises an exciting exchange of musical ideas, blending local Sydney talent with Abdi’s distinct creative perspective for an evening of innovation & collaboration.
