Penelope Tuffin – Pharmacist Lead, Palliative Care (WA Country Health Service)

Penelope is a contributing author to the Therapeutic Guidelines – Palliative Care chapter and we are fortunate to welcome her to the Murrumbidgee region to share her expertise at a special education evening with MPHN.

Penny’s session will cover key learning outcomes including:

• Medicines commonly used outside their registered indication (off label use)
• Deprescribing approaches and practical tools
• Managing high dose opioids in patients with cancer

The evening will also feature interactive case studies and a multidisciplinary Q&A panel session including local experts and practitioners in Palliative Care.
