Soil Extension Workshop and Field Walk

The aim of this project is to give farmers a better understanding of their soils and how they can be managed to improve production and water retention. Soil issues in the region are complex and can be segmented through-out the soil profile. Each event will review soil tests and conditions in a particular area, with a soil mapping workshop followed by field walk with Precision Ag, AgriSci, NSW DPI and GRDC. 

These events will be covering similar content, it is recommended to choose the location that best suits you and stick with that group for follow up events. This will include access to discussion groups that will design the treatment demonstration for the following year.

Day 1 (Tuesday 6th) will be located at Bogandillan Farms, Rand, NSW

Day 2 (Wednesday 7th) will be located at Buraja Recreation Hall, Lowesdale, NSW

Events will run from 9am-12pm and include breakfast.
