Join us for an inspiring discussion with Indigenous surfers—Amber Mercy, Lehani Zoric, Bohdi Simons, Jody Barsby and Melissa Combo — each representing different generations of Indigenous surfing and riding a variety of crafts. These surfers are cultural ambassadors, weaving tradition, storytelling, and identity into every wave they ride. Through their deep connection to the ocean and the vibrant heritage of their ancestors, they are preserving Indigenous knowledge, sharing their colourful cultures, and reshaping the surfing world. Their passion and resilience have paved the way for future generations, ensuring Indigenous surfing holds its rightful place on the global stage.

Our deepest thanks to the incredible women and dedicated volunteers who bring Seas The Day to life. Your passion, energy, and commitment make everything we do possible.
