Details
This Meeting will be conducted under the current Formula 500's Australia Inc. Supplementary Racing Regulations, Australian Speedway Racing Rules and Regulations and these Supplementary Regulations.
ENTRY
Drivers wishing to enter the venues must be familiar with the above mentioned Rules and Regulations.
ENTRY FOR MEETING
Competitors must nominate and pay the appropriate fee before being accepted.
The Brisbane Formula 500 Club reserves the right to accept or reject any entry.
The Brisbane Formula 500 Club and/or the Series Co-ordinators may amend parts of these supplementary regulations and reserves the right to alter the Race Format should any unforeseen circumstances occur.
The series will consist of:
Round 1 - Friday, 26th December 2025 – Toowoomba. Sponsor : Samios Plumbing Supplies
Round 2 - Monday, 29th December 2025 – Kingaroy. Sponsor : Global Engineering & Construction
Round 3 - Wednesday, 7th January 2026 – Toowoomba. Sponsor : SRV Road Freight Services
ENTRY FOR THE ENTIRE SERIES
Nominations close 5pm Sun 21st December 2025 – Series Entrants
All Nominations and payments to be completed via Sticky Tickets link. Series Entry Fee: $140
WITHDRAWING FROM A RACE MEETING
Once entered, if a series entrant cannot attend a round for whatever reason, they must notify the series co-ordinator as soon as possible, prior to the sign in deadline.
ENTRY FOR A SINGLE ROUND
Nominations close at Sign-In Deadline on Race Day.
All Nominations and payments to be completed via Sticky Ticket link Entry Fee: $50 per round.
Drivers who enter for a single round will start heats/finals in the grid draws unless signed in late.
SIGN-IN
All drivers will be required to sign in with the series officials before the sign-in deadline time - 3.00pm on each race day unless advised otherwise.
The sign-in sheet will be located at the series trailer at each round of the series. Both driver and car are to be in the pits when signing in.
Drivers must produce their current Speedway Australia licence if requested.
Any driver who does not sign in on race night by the cut off time will start all heats from the rear.
At Sign In, drivers will draw a pill which will determine their heat starting positions.
SERIES STICKER
Series stickers will be provided to all cars at Round 1.
Any car not carrying the required stickers, in the designated location, during the nights racing will be ineligible for series prizes and prize money. Spare stickers will be available from the series trailer in the event of damaged wings and body panels
ROOKIES
At the discretion of the Brisbane Formula 500 Club, all rookies may be required to start rear of field, including finals
WEIGHING OF CARS
Weighing of cars will be compulsory as advised at drivers briefing - Top 3 in each nights Final must go to scales before going back to their pit area.
Scales will be available prior to racing on each night. Drivers are to ensure their car complies with minimum weight (350kg) using the supplied scales.
Cars failing to stop at scales, and meet the minimum weight rule will be disqualified from that event
ENGINE SEALS
as per Rule 2 (e) - "All 600cc Engines meeting these specification requirements are to be measured & sealed..."
Any Engines that are NOT sealed, The Brisbane Formula 500 Club will have the right to check, and measure at any stage of the series
TRANSPONDERS
Electronic timing Transponders will be used.
Drivers will be responsible for lost or damaged hired transponders or any hired transponder not returned.
Any car not having a working transponder may not be lap scored.
Any car crossing the start/finish line under the pole line may not be lap scored.
RACECEIVERS
All drivers must race with a working Raceceiver (and ear pieces).
RACE FORMAT
Heats: Each driver will have a minimum of 2 heats - pill draw conducted at sign in to determine starting position for first round of heats. Second round of heats starting position will be an inversion of round 1 line up & rows swapped where possible. ·
If a full 3rd round of heats are contested, starting line-up will be a top 6 invert based on points from Heat 1 & 2
A Main: 15 - 20 Laps depending on car count or as advised by track promoter.
Highest point scorer in the heats will draw a marble to decide invert for the Final - Invert Marbles will be 1, 3, 5 & 7
Example – if Marble 5 is drawn, high points starts position 5, 2nd highest points will be position 4 etc
Balance of field line up based on points after heat races.
Cars that start but do not finish any final will receive points and prize money for the position they dropped out in as determined by track timing system.
B Main if required (no of laps & no of cars to transfer will be dependant on car count & allowable track density - Twmba 24 cars, Kingaroy 20 cars)
Toowoomba - top 18 cars on points go directly to A Main & remaining cars will run B Main with first 6 finishers to transfer to rear of A main.
Kingaroy - top 14 cars on points will go directly to A Main & remaining cars will run B Main with first 6 finishers to transfer to rear of A main

All cars must display meeting sponsors sticker/s. All sponsor stickers also must be display on top wing outside left side panel. (Stickers will be provided). Failure to do so will result in no points or prize money.
NIGHTLY PRESENTATIONS
Presentations will be held after each round for drivers placed 1st to 3rd in the final either on track infield or at Series Trailer
These drivers are to attend presentations in full race suit.
SERIES WINNER
The winner of the Series will be the driver who has amassed the highest number of points from their heats and finals at the completion of all the contested rounds regardless of how many there might be.
In the event of drivers with the same amount of points at the end of the series, tied points will be split by who had the higher finishing position at the last contested round. Example - If Driver A finished 3rd in final & Driver B finished 5th, Driver A will be the winner of the tie
SERIES PRESENTATIONS
The series presentations will be held after the A Main final at Toowoomba at Series Trailer once all positions are confirmed. Details to be advised.
PRIZE MONEY
There will be no prize money paid out each night. Drivers will be paid at the end of the series by direct credit within 10 business days after the final round. Please ensure your bank details are correct (when nominating)

Contingency prizes will be on offer to ALL drivers, at each night of the series. Prizes will be handed out at drivers briefing at the follow round. Rd 3 prizes will be handed out at series presentation, following the event.

All race results will be uploaded on www.mylaps.com as soon as possible after each meeting.
