One step at a time - Monthly Carers walks

EACH Family Relationship Support for Carers and Mental Health & Wellbeing Connect -North East Metro invite Carers who provide unpaid care to a family member living with a disability or mental illness to join us for a walk and morning tea.

Every month is in a different location around Melbourne

Join us in July at Yarra Bend Park in Kew for a walk along the Bushland Circuit Trail, a graded gravel path that makes a 950m loop around some of the park's peaceful riverside woodlands. Then enjoy a light morning tea at Studley Park Boathouse. Situated on the banks of the Yarra River, this is Melbourne's oldest operating Boathouse.

Enjoy the opportunity to connect with other carers in a relaxed, non-judgmental space and enjoy the added benefits of being immersed in nature such as lower stress, improved mental health, and an overall feeling of wellbeing.

Free for unpaid carers.

Strictly Carers only, this is your time.

Suitable for all fitness levels however participants are expected to be able to walk comfortably for 45-55 minutes on various terrain.

Sorry no dogs allowed and no transport provided.
