Event Details

During National Pollinator Week, and on National Agriculture Day, researchers from the University of New England Rader Lab will show us a range of pollinators that provide essential services to our food and fibre industries. We'll get to be up close and personal with some of the smaller pollinators by viewing them under a microscope. Some of the larger pollinators might come as a surprise but all will be revealed in this fun and educational workshop. Some resources will be available to take home.

The Community Nursery will have pollinator attracting plants for sale at the workshop.

Morning tea provided by members of Gwydir Ark.

This event is proudly supported by Gwydir Ark, SQNNSW Drought Hub, NW Local Land Services, Northern Slopes Landcare Association and Gwydir Shire Council.
