The Album Show presents The Music of the Bee Gees (in semi acoustic mode)
The music of the Bee Gees transcends most other song catalogues for not only its enduring and diverse material, but also the longevity and versatility of their songs. From their original British Pop influences, through to their second chapter encompassing disco and funk, their timeless ballads and even dalliances with authentic country and soul music, you would be hard pressed to find writers who achieved so much over such a long period.
The Album Show will be presenting a purpose built selection of iconic songs from the Gibb Brothers’ catalogue in a night of stripped back simplicity, where the songs will be pushed to the fore. Featuring the incredible voices of Anthony Snape and Peta Caswell, with Paul Hakim and Album Show leader Michael Carpenter, this show promises to be an unforgettable night of soaring vocals, and engaging harmonies framed by a subtle but engaging accompaniment, adding another chapter to the evolving catalogue of Album Show shows.
