COURSE INFORMATION

First Aid (HLTAID011): with New England Community College.

Upon completion of this course, you will gain a sound understanding and working knowledge of First Aid procedures.

Units covered are:

• HLTAID009 Perform CPR
• HLTAID010 Provide basic emergency life support
• HLTAID011 Provide first aid

First Aid Certificates are valid for 3 years

We also cover unit HLTAID012 for the Education and carers sector. Please advise if this is required on enrolment, so you can receive the correct assessment and workbooks to cover this unit.

This training requires pre-work at home on theory with a workbook prior to training day. Complete the workbook and return it four (4) days before the course starts, then attend the face-to-face practical sessions. 

You may receive exemption for some theory work if you can provide a current First Aid certificate prior to the training day.

Please note:

• ·The course will go ahead once minimum numbers have been reached.
• You will need to provide a form of Photo ID on the day of training.
• You will need to bring your own lunch and water bottle.
